Women always take the twofold work-load in the house and out of the house. The low rate of higher education among the village women is one of the disadvantageous matters of the community. They do not have any other skill for earning. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 condition, there is increasing risk for insufficiency of livelihood and employment in all over the world. In this situation earing of women is required and necessary within a family. Poor villagers are suffering from economic crisis. Integrated sustainable development, capacity building and enterprise are important and innovative for promoting upliftment of the underprivileged village women. Upgrading the skill of human resources in the localities and the upward direction of the degraded, marginalized underprivileged section of the society are urgent. So, consolidating, promoting and mainstreaming alternative progress in a sustainable integrated way are necessary for the overall development of the Women. Combining women’s grassroots’ empowerment with enhanced livelihood skills by providing vocational training of Beautician Course, this 3 months project will provide hitherto underprivileged marginalised rural women (N=12) of Sonachura village, Nandigram-I Block (Purba Medinipur) of West Bengal a voice in shaping their lives and that of their communities.
